For those of you who are teachers or facilitators of movement, yoga, or dance:
Sanjivani has incorporated into this program some sharing and transmission of Shamanic wisdom, tools, and skills, that you will be welcome to incorporate into your personal classes or workshops. The intention is to invite you to enhance your experiences with new ways of working with the Sacred.
Here below are some of the tools you’ll be learning:
Opening of Sacred Space - Calling on the fundamental principles of the Universe through Prayer.
You will learn how to open Sacred Space, in the Shamanic way that Sanjivani has studied and practices, by calling the archetypes of each of the six directions. This prayer creates a safely held cocoon for the dancers’ journey, no matter which location/studio you are holding the class. Dancing in Sacred Space allows for a deeper level of transformation and healing to unfold safely on the dance floor. Through the process of learning this new tool, you will develop a personal relationship within yourself with each one of those archetypes, or Spirit power animals. You’ll journey with them, dance with them, get to know their medicine, experience their movements, retrieve your own power animals, and explore your own intimate heart felt connection to them. It will be a wonderful journey to play with!
Sanjivani will guide you in Shamanic Journeying during the periods of deep relaxation, at the end of the ecstatic JourneyDances.
Your free flow movements of self-expression will have prepared you by opening and freeing your body, mind, and spirit. From that still place, you’ll travel deep into healing places of power. The journeys will include Soul Retrieval, receiving Soul Gifts, meeting your Power Animals, Destiny Tracking, etc., according to the theme we are working with that day, and the energy of the group. We will be offering many opportunities to integrate what you have retrieved from your journeying, via dance and other Shamanic practices. To guide other people into these Shamanic Journeys of the underworld and the upperworld, further training and experience is recommended. Being aware of that, Sanjivani will share with you how to lead your dancers into some of the Shamanic Journeys that are safe to use in your level of training. You’ll be invited to use your infinite imagination to create the most remarkable Shamanic Journeys.
Learn how to hold what comes up for yourself and the other dancers in a Sacred way, by working at the level of the Mythic, with Sand Paintings & Healing Fire Ceremonies.
What ever arises for you during this 5-day experience, you’ll be given the time and space to work with it in a sacred way, at the level of the Mythic, via Sand Paintings. You’ll learn how to create and work with circular shaped Sand Paintings in nature, on the Earth, for your personal healing and integration process. You’ll use natural objects found in the environment, like stones, twigs, pine cones, etc. to create a Mythical representation of what you are letting go of, or calling into your life — anything from letting go of an old Soul contract or story, to energizing a newly retrieved Soul part or Power Animal. The healing energy of Pachamama, Mother Earth, will mulch the dense energies and hold your prayers in magical ways, working hand-in-hand with you and Spirit.
We will also bring our integration process in Shamanic Healing Fire Ceremonies throughout the week. You’ll have the sacred space held for you to offer your prayers to the fire, under the radiance of the Full Moon, and join in dance, chants and music (drums & rattle & didgeridoo). Sanjivani will share with you the fundamental principles that you can take home with you, and guide your own Moon Fire Ceremonies. She has initiated ceremonial circles throughout Canada, USA, and New Zealand.
